HOW WE OPERATE

Fundamentally we are investors who have developed our own unique style of ’hands on’ investing. We call ourselves Partners because that is exactly how we see our relationship with the companies and shareholders we work with. We stand side-by-side with management teams and business owners and we work to help grow these businesses to realise their full potential. We are not a traditional venture capital fund as we invest our own money. As such, we’re not under any time pressure to realise an exit and we don’t have complicated committees to approve an investment – you deal with us directly. We support our investee businesses. We don’t manage the companies nor do we get more involved than we are invited to do so. Generally our support comes in 3 forms;

We provide Board level support – normally by spending several days each month working with the owner or management team.

We offer a range of support services, from finance to marketing – all of which are designed to free up time and help the business focus on it’s growth opportunity.

Deals We Look For

A little information for advisers working with us;

  • We are a private office investor. We only invest our own money and take a long-term view of our investments.
  • We don’t pay thumping big introducer fees. However, we’re not mugs and appreciate the need to have a strong network of advisers to work with – particularly those operating in the SME sector and those with regional representation.
